Good to know about Chiquilá (Holbox ferry)
Chiquilá is the port the Holbox ferries leave from. This transfer does not end at a hotel: it drops you at the terminal, and you cross to the island from there. It is the longest run on our rate sheet and the only one that does not take Highway 307.
- The ferry ticket is not included and is bought at the Chiquilá terminal. We cover the airport → port leg.
- It does not go down the 307: the road to Chiquilá heads northwest, so Riviera Maya corridor traffic does not affect this drive.
- It is the longest transfer we run, 1 h 55 – 2 h 15. When planning your arrival on the island, count the ferry separately.
