How much is a transfer from Cancun airport?
Private transfers start at $49 USD per vehicle to Cancun and the Hotel Zone, $89 to Playa del Carmen, and $159 to Tulum. Prices are per vehicle — not per person — for a private Van or Elite SUV (Suburban), and cover taxes, tolls, and meet-and-greet.
How long does it take to get to Tulum?
About 90 minutes from Cancun airport (CUN) to Tulum, depending on traffic and your exact hotel. Playa del Carmen is roughly 50 minutes and the Hotel Zone about 20.
Can I take an Uber from Cancun airport?
Uber exists in Cancun, but it will not pick you up at the terminal: as of September 2026 ride-hailing apps have no pickup zone at CUN. A pre-booked private transfer is the fixed-price way out, with your driver already waiting. How it compares with taxis and Uber Taxi.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
