Bahia Petempich is the strip of resorts between Cancun and Puerto Morelos, on Federal Highway 307. You will also see it advertised as Riviera Cancun: that is the commercial name for the same bay. It sits just off the highway rather than inside any town, so you reach it straight from the airport without crossing Cancun.
- Petempich and Riviera Cancun are the same place. The first is the name of the bay, the second is what the hotels use; our rate sheet quotes them as one.
- There is no town here: these are beachfront resorts with access from the 307. Give us the hotel name and that gets us to the door.
- At 25–40 min from the terminal it is one of the shortest runs into the Riviera Maya: it leaves the airport heading south without entering Cancun, and stops short of Puerto Morelos.
